Ricco Renzo’s 300 square meter area hosts regular events such as art exhibitions, workshops, seminars, art talks, book and product launches, press conferences and live musical performances, all within the intimacy and beauty of its art-filled space.
The Gallery trades artworks by the country’s masters, contemporary artists and up-coming artists from various genres. However, it mainly exhibits modern works in the visual arts. Rafael Cusi, Raul Lebajo, Raul Isidro, Danny Sillada, Gino Tioseco, Norlie Meimban, Michel Herbert and Jemina Reyes are among the artists who have already exhibited at Ricco–Renzo. Come and visit Ricco–Renzo during any of its exhibit openings. Exhibits range from paintings, photography, sculptures, jewelry, pottery and ceramics, to name a few.
Workshops
Join any of Ricco–Renzo's workshops which are available all year round and conducted by artists Gerry Ingco, Nestor Villanueva, Norlie Meimban and Barbara Gonzales, among others. Bring out your creativity as you hold classes in the workshop room that is also an extension of the gallery. It is lined with paintings and will inspire even the most harried and jaded workshop participant to produce his or her own opus. Basic Drawing, Painting, Cartoon Animation Drawing, Abstraction, Cubism, Pointillism, Creative Seeing with Chinne Delas Alas, Floral Artistry with Bernice Ocampo and Creative Writing with Barbara Gonzalez are a few of the workshops available.
Seminars and ArtTalks
Art lectures are held with distinguished and key personalities in the art industry. These are aimed at educating and updating art lovers, collectors as well as professionals in the field of arts on art history and trends, creativity, culture and conservation. Learn from both the resource speakers as well as the participants. Previous talks have been: “The Life and Works of Nena Saguil” by Art Critic Eric Torres, “Appreciating Abstract Art” with Abstractionist Cid Reyes, “Surrealism” by Artist Reuben Cañete, and “The Basics of Art Restoration” with Italian-trained and Florence-based Filipina art restorer Annali Garcia and Spanish-trained restorer Aro Soriano. Speak and be part of a dialogue that is both engaging and enriching.
